Diverse CDT was set up to train the next generation of researchers to design, develop, and evaluate inclusive, impactful, and socially responsible data visualizations that address real-world challenges. “Big Data Specialist” is the fastest growing job area, according to the World Economic Forum, Future of Jobs Survey 2024. The same survey cited analytical and creative thinking as numbers one and four in employer-ranked core workforce skills.
