People from underrepresented backgrounds are invited to submit your unique Metaverse world within 100 days, for the chance to be showcased to clients, investors, government, and even take part in a cultural exchange!
We’re launching a new programme “100 Worlds in 100 Days”. This 100 Days Challenge will take underrepresented creators, founders, and anyone interested in building their own metaverse world, on a journey of education and exploration. It invites applicants to apply either with an established Metaverse business, or with a new idea. The 100 Day counter starts on the 28th of March 2023 with an incredible kickoff day, and ends 100 days later with the giving of rewards to the most successful ideas.
What:
This application is for underrepresented individuals who have an idea for a world they would like to build in the Metaverse.
Who:
Underrepresented individuals or teams of up to 3 who have an idea for an idea for a Metaverse world. Note: you must be in the UK, from an ethnic minority background, and be 18+ years old (if you are 16 or 17, reach out to us for confirmation if you can come along).
When:
Applications are open until May 28th 2023 at 11:59pm.
Get 2 weeks of training via 5 online workshops to develop your idea into a viable Metaverse business proposal. (early June).
Become featured on a microsite dedicated to the programme and Meta. Exposure online through the Colorintech channels to you and your idea. Also opportunities at Black Tech Fest 2023.
Pitch online - your idea will get featured on a website supported by Meta, where the wider Colorintech audience of 15k + Meta staff, will vote for their favourite ideas. The top 12 will receive some free Meta Quest technology!
The top 6 ideas with the most votes will receive a £500 cash prize, and further support to develop their their idea, including a 1:1 coaching session with a Metaverse expert.

What:
This application is for those with an established Metaverse business, which will see you applying for a limited number of spaces on a unique cultural exchange programme, grant support, showcase to Meta, and more - all for underrepresented founders
